ACBA CLE – Befriending the Court: A Primer on Amicus Curiae Practice Before Pennsylvania Appellate Courts

Attorney Casey Coyle will serve as a panelist for the Allegheny County Bar Association’s (ACBA) “Befriending the Court: A Primer on Amicus Curiae Practice Before Pennsylvania Appellate Courts” CLE program on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. This panel will consist of experienced appellate attorneys who will discuss the fundamentals of, and best practices for, participating as an amicus curiae in appeals before Pennsylvania appellate courts. Panelists will cover procedural requirements for participation, briefing requirements, strategies for success and ethical considerations in this highly specialized, but increasingly common, practice area.
