Attorney Alyssa Golfieri will present an ACBA CLE on “Child Protective Services Law – Know Your Obligations” on Wednesday, August 17, 2017. The Pennsylvania Child Protective Services Law (CPSL) is designed to protect children from abuse, and the law underwent major amendments in recent years. No matter the practice area, lawyers are likely to encounter CPSL questions, and this one-credit program is designed to equip attorneys with the latest info on this crucial law. This program will include an overview of basic CPSL provisions, from what type of suspected abuse must be reported to how the law classifies individuals into mandated and permissive reporters of abuse.
