Endangered and Threatened Crayfish in the Guyandotte and Big Sandy Watersheds: Understanding and Dealing with the FWS Listings

A free collaborative and timely briefing featuring a panel of legal and technical advisors who will address the recently finalized Endangered Species Act protections for Appalachian Crayfish in Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia. Topics will include an overview of legal requirements and enforcement of the endangered Species Act, key aspects of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Listings, and potential options for projects located in affected watersheds, as well as scientific approaches and legal aspects of addressing the Listings.
