Attorney Ben Clapp will be a panelist for “Driving Solar Development and Policy in Pennsylvania” on Thursday, November 12, 2020. This webinar will be hosted by Carnegie Mellon University’s Wilton E. Scott Institute for Energy Innovation as part of its “Energy, Resilience, and COVID-19 – Pivoting in 2020” Webinar Series and will continue the discussion on the future of energy policy, turning the focus to solar development. Can multiple technologies and forms of energy co-exist to meet mutual goals? How have state and federal policies helped and hurt this interconnection? With insights from the Executive Director of the PA Office of Energy, the panel will address the surge of utility scale projects, state incentives for community solar, and how secure regulations can continue facilitating growth.
