The EMLF Annual Institute provides a forum for the intellectually honest examination of the legal issues related to the development of natural resources. Babst Calland Attorneys Donald C. Bluedorn and Justin D. Ackerman will discuss some of the practical legal issues associated with selling a former coal-fired electric generating station, with a particular focus from the seller’s perspective. In a presentation on recent developments in wastewater regulation Attorneys Kevin J. Garber and Michael K. Rear will summarize federal and state regulatory initiatives with the potential to make oil and natural gas wastewater treatment and/or disposal more heavily regulated.
